Overview

The NCAISP Core Edition is a 16-hour certification program designed to develop expertise in securing Artificial Intelligence systems and applying AI to cybersecurity operations. Delivered over four weekends through eight live sessions, the course covers modern AI attack surfaces, Large Language Model (LLM) security, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, and AI supply-chain risks.

The curriculum follows a dual-lens approach: Cybersecurity for AI, focusing on protecting AI models, applications, data, agents, and infrastructure; and AI for Cybersecurity, exploring AI-powered threat detection, security investigations, threat hunting, and incident response.

Participants learn to apply industry frameworks such as OWASP GenAI, MITRE ATLAS, and CSA MAESTRO to threat modelling, secure architecture, AI red teaming, and security operations. The program combines instructor-led teaching, demonstrations, architecture walkthroughs, and case-based exercises to build practical understanding of emerging AI security challenges.

Designed for SOC analysts, security engineers, penetration testers, AI/ML engineers, and cybersecurity leaders, the course provides a foundation for securing AI-enabled environments and integrating AI responsibly into modern cybersecurity workflows.
