We are thrilled to announce that the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) actively participated in the prestigious National Conference on Cyber Crime, Digital Forensics & Intelligence (NCCDFI 2024), held at the Capital Convention Center in Kohima. This significant event, organized by NIELIT Kohima in collaboration with the Nagaland Police, IT&C Department of the Government of Nagaland, and supported by the United Service Institution of India, was a pivotal platform for advancing cybersecurity discussions in India.
Grp Capt. Aanand Naidu Pola proudly represented ISAC and delivered a compelling presentation on the development of community-based mini Cyber Crime Emergency Response Teams under our Social Impact initiative, CopConnect. His insights underscored the urgent need for enhanced cybercrime awareness, prevention, and support, advocating for a multi-disciplinary approach involving Cyber Crime First Responders, Cyber Lawyers, Cyber Psychologists, and Forensic Experts. These contributions played a crucial role in driving the conference’s success and reinforcing the importance of a collaborative effort in tackling cyber threats.
NCCDFI 2024 covered a wide range of critical topics, including digital crime, cyber law, mobile forensics, financial fraud, digital evidence, national security, and emerging technologies. The event also showcased cutting-edge products from leading digital forensic and cybersecurity providers, highlighting the significance of collaboration in strengthening India’s digital future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Lanuwabang L., Director of NIELIT, and Mr. Anubhav Tiwari, CIO of NIELIT, for their visionary leadership in organizing this impactful event. Their efforts are instrumental in enhancing India’s cybersecurity resilience. Special thanks to NIELIT Kohima and the Commissioner and Secretary of IT, Government of Nagaland, for their unwavering support.
In a show of our commitment to building a secure digital ecosystem, ISAC is proud to offer AICTE-approved Cyber Crime Intervention Officer training at no cost in August 2024 for the police personnel who registered and attended the conference. This initiative is a step towards realizing the vision of a “Cyber Aparadh Mukt Bharat” or “Cyber Crime Free India.”
